ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By creating an account or using Achoo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

WHAT ACHOO PROVIDES

Achoo is a web application that displays real-time pollen and allergen data based on your location. It allows you to track allergens, log symptoms, track medications and treatments, analyze treatment effectiveness, receive personal allergy insights (trigger discovery, risk scores, pattern detection), get email notifications (daily alerts and spike alerts), search pollen levels in any city for travel planning, and receive in-app alerts when allergen levels are high.

NOT MEDICAL ADVICE

Achoo is an informational tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The pollen data, tips, and recommendations shown in the app are for general informational purposes. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

Treatment effectiveness scores, personal risk scores, trigger correlations, and "What Worked" recommendations are based on statistical patterns in your self-reported data. They are not medical advice, clinical assessments, or professional treatment recommendations.

Do not start, stop, or change any medication based solely on information from Achoo. Always consult your doctor or allergist before making treatment decisions.

Achoo does not verify the accuracy of self-reported symptom or treatment data.

ACCOUNTS

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide a valid email address to create an account.

FREE TRIAL

• ─ New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all premium features.
• ─ No credit card is required for the trial.
• ─ After the trial ends, premium features (real pollen data, symptom logging, insights) are disabled until you subscribe.
• ─ The trial cannot be extended or restarted.

EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS

• ─ Alert emails (daily pollen reports, spike alerts) are opt-in. You will not receive alert emails unless you enable them.
• ─ Transactional emails (welcome, trial reminders) are sent automatically as part of your account. You can unsubscribe from these separately.
• ─ You can unsubscribe at any time via the one-click link in any email, or through your profile settings.
• ─ We are not responsible for email delivery failures caused by your email provider.

SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS

• ─ Achoo offers Monthly ($4.99/mo), Yearly ($49.99/yr), and Founders Lifetime ($99.99 one-time) plans.
• ─ Payments are processed by Polar. By subscribing, you also agree to Polar's terms of service.
• ─ Monthly and Yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• ─ You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Manage Subscription option on your profile page.
• ─ Founders Lifetime access is a one-time purchase that grants permanent access to Achoo. This offer is available for a limited window of 3 months from launch.

SWITCHING TO LIFETIME

• ─ If you purchase the Founders Lifetime plan while on a Monthly or Yearly subscription, you will be charged the full Lifetime price ($99.99). No credit, proration, or refund is applied for any remaining time on your current subscription.
• ─ We recommend cancelling your existing subscription before purchasing Lifetime to avoid overlapping charges.
• ─ After purchasing Lifetime, remember to cancel your Monthly or Yearly subscription through the "Manage Subscription" option on your profile page — it will not cancel automatically.

REFUNDS

If you are not satisfied with Achoo, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at the email below.

DATA ACCURACY

Pollen and allergen data is sourced from the Google Pollen API. While we strive to display accurate information, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data. Environmental conditions change rapidly and data may not reflect real-time conditions at your exact location.

Personal insights, treatment effectiveness scores, and trigger correlations are calculated from your self-reported data combined with third-party allergen data. Both sources may contain inaccuracies.

City search results are based on OpenStreetMap geocoding and Google Pollen API data, which may not be available for all locations.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Achoo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this service, including but not limited to health decisions made based on data displayed in the app.

Treatment effectiveness percentages, risk scores, and allergen correlations are statistical estimates based on limited self-reported data. They should not be relied upon as accurate medical measurements.

We are not liable for any adverse health outcomes resulting from decisions made based on data, insights, recommendations, or treatment effectiveness scores displayed in the app.

The accuracy of insights improves with more data but is never guaranteed. Small sample sizes may produce misleading results.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Achoo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
